A Hidden Cause Of High Blood Pressure
I’ve been saying for years that salt is NOT the enemy when it comes to high blood pressure. In fact, hypertension sufferers who drastically reduce the amount of salt in their diets are increasing their risk of serious health problems.
And to make matters worse, lowering your salt intake will rarely bring your numbers down. Instead, you should make the switch from processed table salt to unrefined sea salt (I prefer the Himalayan variety). Also, you should be aware of a lesser known cause of hypertension: excess fructose consumption.
