Life Coaching? Say What?
The first question I’m asked when people find out what I do sounds something like this: “Life coaching? Hmm… what’s that all about?” And my response is always the same: “Honestly… I really couldn’t tell you.”
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not your typical life coach. I’m nowhere near fifty years old, I’m as politically incorrect as you can get, and I wasn’t invited to be a talking head on The Secret.
So why should you listen to even a single word I have to say, let alone allow me to influence your major life decisions? Simple. Because you want stuff… and I can help you get it. My driving purpose on this planet is to help people get what they want out of life and I’m darn good at it. Show me the obstacle that’s holding you back from success and I’ll show you how to overcome it. That’s what I do.
My style of life coaching comes down to one thing: YOU. I will tirelessly coach you to live a more exciting and empowered life by YOUR definition. I don’t hold anyone to an arbitrary standard of success… whatever it is you want to achieve, rest assured that I will do my best to help you accomplish it. Bring me your problems and we’ll solve them together.
You want your band to make it to the big leagues? I can put you on the path to getting there. Want to be more successful with women? I’ll help you transform into a ladies man by showing you how to master every step of a romantic interaction. Need help managing your business or personal relationships? I wrote the book on relationships (literally) and I can help ensure that people treat you exactly the way you want.
Need to do better in school? Struggling with social anxiety or depression? Can’t shake your low self-esteem? I’ve got you covered. I struggled with many of these problems myself and I can show you how to blast though them as quickly and painlessly as possible by handing you the mental tools and shortcuts that took me over a decade to learn.
I’m all about speed and efficiency and I work hard to make sure changes happen as quickly as possible. If you firmly believe that it takes years of hard work to see results, then go find a therapist and make yourself comfy on her brown leather couch. Jay Cataldo Life Coaching is not for you.
Another thing you should know is that I urge my clients to work on all aspects of their lives, from their eating habits to their relationships, to ensure that they’re living a fully empowered lifestyle. But if you’re not ready for a total life transformation, that’s ok by me. Some people aren’t ready to put in the effort it takes to become a superstar and I’m cool with that.
Would you rather sit home and bake cupcakes all day while playing ten straight hours of Xbox? No problem. I’ll find you a bangin recipe that’ll make Betty Crocker furious and get you some killer cheat codes so you can beat the snot out of your twelve-year-old neighbor when he drops by to play Madden. You tell me what exactly what it is you want and I’ll help you get it.
Another thing you’ll come to understand is that I have absolutely no tolerance for bullshit. If you’re like me, you’ve probably realized that since the day you were born, you’ve been force-fed a steady diet of complete and utter bullshit from every angle imaginable. I’m sick and tired of it and I hope you are too.
Since I’m repulsed by deception, I promise to always give you the behind-the-curtains peek at how things REALLY work in our society, from the poison you’re being sold as food to exactly what you need to do to keep your partner truly happy and satisfied (things that Dr. Phil will NEVER tell you). I don’t pull punches or hold anything back because I believe that you need to hear the absolute truth in order to become successful.
Because of this, you can be sure that I’ll never b.s. you about the steps you need to take to transform your life. But let me forewarn you… my honesty comes with a downside. I can tell you right now that you’re not always gonna like what I have to say. So if you’re easily offended, please cover your ears and walk away now.
Again, the straight dirt isn’t always pretty. If you’re happy believing that all you need to reach your full potential is a course on positive thinking, a “What The Bleep!?” DVD and a few Buddhist mantras, then don’t let me interrupt you while you’re singing kumbaya around the campfire. Jay Cataldo Life Coaching is not for you.
But if you’re ready to blast through the barricades, silence the critics and blow away the competition, then stick around for a bit. We’re gonna take your life to a whole new level.
So now that you know a little about me, let me tell you a bit about what you can expect for the future. I created this blog so I can share with you my best tips and strategies for maximizing your enjoyment of life, absolutely free of charge. And since there’s a whole boatload of things I consider enjoyable, expect me to be covering a WIDE variety of topics, some of which may bore you. But I promise that most of them will blow you away… pinky swear.
To whet your appetite a bit, here are some things I’ll be discussing in the future:
…and much, much more.
That’s all for now. If you have any questions, shoot em over and I’ll do my best to answer them. And if I can’t, I’ll find you someone who can. Till next time…

Good stuff/topics Jay! Looks like you have everything covered. Maybe you can relate to the John Lennon song lyrics, “…there’s no problems only solutions.” I don’t have problems but your topics still interest me.

Hi Jay,
What an enjoyable read. Now i am curious. When I first logged in, I was hoping and praying that this was not just another MLM. I hate that crap. You sound sincere and honest and I really like that. I’m a realistic, no bullshit person too.
Take care,
Phil

I like your style man, call a spade a spade.
That’s the way I tend to do it as well.
The English system tells us to be all, listen – don’t teach whereas I see it that if people knew where they were going, they wouldn’t need us would they?
Keep it real man..

Hello Jay,
What a breath of fresh air!
Well, you’re so right, I am fed up with bs in all in many forms!
I am glad that there are some of us who are trying to stem the growing tide of lies and other bs.
